Security & Privacy at Cogensec

This page is maintained by Cogensec to answer common security and privacy questions about our platform. It describes controls we have enabled today; it is not a third-party certification or independent audit.

Shared responsibility. Cogensec is responsible for the security of the platform and underlying infrastructure. Customers are responsible for managing their accounts, credentials, and the data they choose to submit.

Authentication & Access

  • Customer accounts use email/password and supported social sign-in via our identity provider.
  • Application access is enforced server-side with row-level security policies in our database.
  • Administrative actions are restricted to authorized roles and routed through audited backend functions.

Platform & Hosting

The application is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with TLS in transit. Backend logic runs in isolated serverless functions, and the database enforces access policies at the row level for tenant isolation.

Data Collection & Use

Cogensec collects only the data needed to deliver the product: account information, content you submit (such as form fields and uploaded files), and operational telemetry used to keep the service reliable. We do not sell customer data.

Subprocessors & Integrations

Cogensec relies on a small set of vetted subprocessors for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and AI model inference. Contact us for the current list and details about a specific integration.

Retention, Deletion & Privacy Requests

Customer data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to support recovery and legal obligations. To request export or deletion of your data, contact privacy@cogensec.com.

Incident & Vulnerability Reporting

Report suspected security issues to security@cogensec.com. We acknowledge reports promptly and coordinate disclosure with reporters. Please do not attempt to access data that is not yours or disrupt the service while testing.
